Connecting the dots: Canadian Friends of Sabeel and the PFLP terror group

The connection between the  Canadian Friends of Sabeel (CFOS) and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) terror group is very clear.

All church groups should be aware that by supporting CFOS, they are supporting the PFLP. The PFLP is listed by the Government of Canada as a terror group.

Because one of our goals is to weaken support for terror groups in Canada, the Jewish Defence League will provide this information to these church groups.

The JDL will picket the Sabeel Conference in Vancouver April 23-25.

Also, we will have an open information meeting at a Pro Israel Vancouver Church on Thursday April 23rd in the evening.

Join and support the JDL Protest at the Pro PFLP Sabeel Terror Recruiting Conference in Vancouver.

It is essential that JDL Canada be present to confront those who spread dangerous lies about Israel and Judaism:

The Canadian Friends of Sabeel is involved in a campaign to support a leader of the Terror Group PFLP by the name of Khalida Jarrar.

This is their announcement on the CFOS Facebook page. They shared this announcement
from their supporter Rima Najjar:

CFOS – Canadian Friends of Sabeel shared Rima Najjar’sphoto.

“OUR DAUGHTERS WILL SPEAK FOR US UNTIL PALESTINE IS FREE The Jewish state is silencing the mother (Khalida Jarrar), but her daughter @[119100092:2048:Yafa Jarrar]’s voice rings loud and clear. FREE PALESTINE! (lawmaker and PFLP member Khalida Jarrar is one of many Palestinian lawmakers to be detained by Israel, a policy that has received international criticism over the years.) The Jewish state has imprisoned PFLP General Secretary Ahmad Sa’adat, but his aptly named daughter @[610683592:2048:Sumoud Sa’dat] will continue to speak until Palestine is free.”

FREE PALESTINE! (lawmaker and PFLP member Khalida Jarrar is one of many Palestinian lawmakers to be detained by Israel, a policy that has received international criticism over the years.)

The Jewish state has imprisoned PFLP General Secretary Ahmad Sa’adat, but his aptly named daughter Sumoud Sa’dat will continue to speak until Palestine is free.

Their supporter Rema Najjar added another post of a child terrorist:

To me, it makes me think of all the Palestinian generations yet to come who will take up resistance against Israel’s obliteration of their parents and grandparents.

The following is the most recent statement from the website for the CFOS, which
provides a link to Samidoun, a website that glorifies terrorism:

The Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network “Samidoun” (صامدون literally staying steadfast) is according to its website “a network of organizers and activists, based in North America, working to build solidarity with Palestinian prisoners in their struggle for freedom.”

Samidoun regards all Palestinians prisoners, who are incarcerated in Israeli jails, as “political prisoners” and “prisoners of freedom.”

It should be noted that most of these prisoners were convicted of involvement in terrorist activities. This group include among others suicide bombers captured alive, dispatchers of suicide bombers, mass murderers, leaders of terrorist organizations, terrorists who killed civilians and those who attempted or planned to kill civilians.

One of the so called “Palestinian political prisoners” is Abdullah al-Barghouthi (عبد الله البرغوثي), who was a leading commander of Hamas’ armed wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, in the West Bank and also one of the organization’s chief bomb makers (“engineer”).

Barghouthi was convicted of involvement in terror attacks that claimed many victims, including the suicide attacks in Café Moment and Sbarro in Jerusalem, the Sheffield Club in Rishon Lezion, and the bus 4 line in Tel Aviv. In total, Barghouti was responsible for the murder of 66 Israelis and the injury of some 500. In 2004 he was sentenced to 67 life sentences.

On November 19, 2014, a day after the Jerusalem massacre took place, Samidoun issued a press release demanding Israel to “free the imprisoned Abu Jamal family!”

The two Palestinian terrorists, the cousins Ghassan and Oday Abu Jamal of East Jerusalem (Jabal al-Mukabar), murdered in a synagogoe 4 rabbis, a policeman by using a handgun, a meat cleaver and a knife. Among the injured is also an Israeli-Canadian and Toronto born Howie Rothman, who was seriously wounded after being struck with a cleaver in his head and neck.

Members of the Abu Jamal family stood by the terrorist murderers and praised them.
Zakia Abu Jamal, Ghassan’s mother, said that she’s proud of her son and another relative overtly supported the pair and called the Islamic State (aka ISIS, ISIL, IS and Daesh) for help. Israeli security forces arrested 12 members of the extended Abu Jamal family, including the wife of one of the perpetrators.

Samidoun’s official press release calls the perpetrators of the Jerusalem massacre “fighters” and “resisters.” The terrorist attack is depicted as an “armed operation” and “armed attack.”

The following are excerpts of Samidoun’s announcement:

“Israeli occupation forces have launched a campaign of collective punishment and mass arrests against the neighborhood of Jabal al-Mukabbir in Jerusalem, arresting the family members of Palestinian fighters, cousins Ghassan and Oday Abu Jamal, who were killed by occupation police forces after they engaged in an armed operation in Jerusalem that killed four Israelis… Ghassan and Oday Abu Jamal were shot dead on the scene by occupation military forces…

“Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network condemns the mass arrests and collective punishment of the Abu Jamal family, and the Israeli policy of assassinations, targeting of families, and home demolitions aimed at all Palestinians who resist the ongoing Israeli assaults on Jerusalem and its Palestinian people…

“It must also be noted that the Jerusalem area, called Har Nof, where Ghassan and Oday Abu Jamal engaged in their armed attack, was built by the Israeli settler state over the destroyed Palestinian village of Deir Yassin…

“Take Action!

“The Abu Jamal family is under arrest, held in an interrogation center notorious for torture and abuse. In just the past weeks, we have witnessed multiple home demolitions of the homes of entire Palestinian families following resistance actions or armed operations undertaken by any individual Palestinian, particularly in Jerusalem…

“Free the Abu Jamal Family and Stop Collective Punishment

“Ten members of the Abu Jamal family, including Ghassan and Oday Abu Jamal’s wives and parents, are being held at Israel’s infamous Moskobiyeh detention center. The homes of Palestinian resisters – and of their entire families – are being targeted for demolition.
Tell Israel to stop collective punishment.”

You’d never know just who Khalida Jarrar is by glancing at the headlines on anti-Israel agitprop sites or on social media.

To the Electronic Intifada, Khalida Jarrar is a “lawmaker.”

To extremist JVP, Khalida Jarrar is a “feminist.”

To Michael Letwin, Khalida Jarrar is simply a suffering victim with no back-story,
who suffers from an unnamed “chronic illness.”

The reality is quite different. Khalida Jarrar is involved with the terrorist PFLP
group- Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, the Marxist-Leninist faction
of the Palestine Liberation Organization. The PFLP took responsibility for the
terror attack on the Jerusalem synagogue last year which killed 5 rabbis.

From the Jerusalem Post:

“In August 2014, the IDF ordered Jarrar to leave her home in Ramallah and move to Jericho. She was told that she would not be permitted to leave the district of Jericho without permission from the IDF commander in the West Bank. Jarrar refused to comply with the order and waged a campaign in protest against the decision to “exile” her to Jericho.

“According to the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency), Jarrar is one of the dominant militant forces in the PFLP, and advocates for military resistance against Israel.
Jarrar has been involved over the past few months in strengthening the PFLP in the West Bank, the Shin Bet said, including pushing its members to be take part in terror attacks.

“The IDF arrested her only after the injunction failed to halt her activities which
posed a risk, the Shin Bet said.”

Administrative detention, the holding of a person by the state without a
trial is lawful under international law. Article 78 of the fourth Geneva
Convention states that if a nation “considers it necessary, for imperative
reasons of security, to take safety measures concerning protected persons,
it may, at the most, subject them to assigned residence or to internment.”
Article 4 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights also
allows for administrative detention during times of public emergency that
threaten the life of a nation.

The Jewish Defence League will monitor groups in Canada that are front groups for terror.  The JDL must have your support.

With faith and determination,
