We will be giving out JDL shirts and we will walk together. This is a very important event for us to support, so please plan to attend and bring a friend.

JDL To Protest Pro-Jihad Terrorism Rally: Saturday May 13

Saturday, May 13, 2017
2:00 – 4:00 PM
The Israeli Consulate
180 Bloor Street, Toronto

Click HERE to view this event on Facebook.

On Saturday May 13th, there will be a pro Jihad Terrorism rally outside the Israeli Consulate in Toronto. The organizers of this ‘rally’ claim that the terrorists in Israeli prisons are ‘political prisoners’. The so-called political prisoners are terrorists and liars. These terrorists have blown up coffee shops and buses and have beheaded innocent people. They claim to be on a hunger strike drinking only salt water, but have been exposed eating. These terrorists have either murdered Jews or planned to murder Jews. They all follow a radical Islamic system.

Please join the JDL counter protest to refute their lies and incitement. Please bring Israeli and Canadian flags. Signs will be provided.

JDL Events for the Jewish Community of Amona, Israel (updated)

EMERGENCY EVENT in TORONTO: Sunday December 11
event-in-support-of-amona

December 24, 2016:  First Night of Chanukah for Amona
LOCATIONS: Israeli consulate Toronto (CLICK HERE), and Israeli consulate NYC (CLICK HERE)

December 26, 2016:  JDL Chanukah Freedom Party with the Amona Jewish Community LOCATION: Toronto (CLICK HERE)

Amona, a small Jewish community of approximately 40 families near the Jewish community of Ofra north of Jerusalem, is set to be demolished by order of Israel’s “Peace Now” and ultra left leaning Supreme Court.

The technical reason for this is that the community rests on “Palestinian” private property. While it’s true a small portion of the community rests on “Palestinian” land, most of the community does not. The “Palestinian” (who with the help of Peace Now, brought the complaint directly to the Supreme Court), has had nothing to do with the property, as his family abandoned it more than a generation ago. In fact, the property was of no interest to this “Palestinian” until Peace Now (which is funded by the EU) unearthed this fact in a document.

Although Amona is slated for destruction on December 25, a law has been tabled in the Knesset entitled “the Regulation Law” or “Normalization Law.” The purpose of this law is to retroactively legalize any Jewish community that the State of Israel knowingly provided support to in order to grow, even if the community is built on Arab private land. The absentee land owner in each case would be fully compensated. In most societies ,these laws are standard. So why is Bibi Netanyahu so afraid of passing this law?

One word: Obama.

The passage of this law prevents the precedent that the destruction of Amona would bring, which is to destroy the communities of Judea and Samaria through judicial fiat. The Regulation Law also inadvertently applies Israeli sovereignty to large areas of Judea and Samaria. (True it won’t be called this, but everyone knows that’s what it is.)

Bibi has already been informed by the US government and EU that there will be severe punitive measures at the Hague with the passage of this law.  Expect Obama to use the passage of the law to abstain from a UNSC vote recognizing the final borders of “Palestine.” These threats are well known and with 50 days to go, Bibi is just trying to hold out for a new, far more amicable President Trump.

In a perfect world, Bibi would get his way. The law would be pushed off until after January 20, but Amona’s destruction sets a precedent that his party the Likud and Jewish Home have vowed not to let happen. If Amona falls, the collapse of the government is almost certain.  December 25 is the date to watch, but with the first reading of the Regulation Law already finished, with its passing (there are two more readings necessary), the trigger for international measures against the only Jewish state may begin by Hanukkah.

JDL to Confront and Expose pro-PFLP BDS Sabeel Conference: Montreal, August 10

On August 10, 2016, the Jewish Defence League will be returning to Montreal to lead a protest against an antisemitic event organized by the World Social Forum together with the pro PFLP Sabeel gang.

The goal of the event is to have church groups boycott Israel (co-hosts include the Anglican, Presbyterian and United Churches of Canada) and to claim that Jesus was a Palestinian and that the Jewish people have no right to the Land of Israel. The event will also promote the BDS movement and discuss the “resistance to the Empire.”

From the event description:

“Using examples of successful campaigns, Rev. Don Wagner and Rochelle Grause will explain what divestment is, why it is important for the Palestinian liberation movement, how it is done, and how to help your church or denomination to understand and support it. Nora Carmi will also explain why Christians should care about divestment.”

The Jewish Defence League will protest outside the event, providing transportation from Toronto for those who would like to attend the event, and inviting local Montrealers who care enough to stand up to the hate being spewed at the event.

“The Jewish Defence League will counter the antisemitic Sabeel Kairos Conference taking place in Montreal,” said Meir Weinstein, National Director of the JDL in Canada. “It is incomprehensible that at a time when Christians are being massacred in the Middle East, that Israel and the Jewish people are being depicted as evil by these church organizations.”

JDL action plan against the Green Party Of Canada

The Jewish Defence League will organize our supporters to picket the Green Party of Canada’s convention in Ottawa in August.

The Green Party of Canada has been taken over by hard core Jew haters who want the party to support anti-Jewish policies then introduce them in the House Of Commons.

(Click the links for two examples from the Green Party’s own website, here and here)

The Jewish Defence League will always confront anti Jewish gangs whereever and whenever they appear. We also require and appreciate your monetary support for our campaigns. To protest at the Green Party convention, we need to pay for transportation, hotel accommodations, banners and signs. PLEASE CLICK HERE to donate.
