JDL Events for the Jewish Community of Amona, Israel (updated)

EMERGENCY EVENT in TORONTO: Sunday December 11

December 24, 2016:  First Night of Chanukah for Amona
LOCATIONS: Israeli consulate Toronto (CLICK HERE), and Israeli consulate NYC (CLICK HERE)

December 26, 2016:  JDL Chanukah Freedom Party with the Amona Jewish Community LOCATION: Toronto (CLICK HERE)

Amona, a small Jewish community of approximately 40 families near the Jewish community of Ofra north of Jerusalem, is set to be demolished by order of Israel’s “Peace Now” and ultra left leaning Supreme Court.

The technical reason for this is that the community rests on “Palestinian” private property. While it’s true a small portion of the community rests on “Palestinian” land, most of the community does not. The “Palestinian” (who with the help of Peace Now, brought the complaint directly to the Supreme Court), has had nothing to do with the property, as his family abandoned it more than a generation ago. In fact, the property was of no interest to this “Palestinian” until Peace Now (which is funded by the EU) unearthed this fact in a document.

Although Amona is slated for destruction on December 25, a law has been tabled in the Knesset entitled “the Regulation Law” or “Normalization Law.” The purpose of this law is to retroactively legalize any Jewish community that the State of Israel knowingly provided support to in order to grow, even if the community is built on Arab private land. The absentee land owner in each case would be fully compensated. In most societies ,these laws are standard. So why is Bibi Netanyahu so afraid of passing this law?

One word: Obama.

The passage of this law prevents the precedent that the destruction of Amona would bring, which is to destroy the communities of Judea and Samaria through judicial fiat. The Regulation Law also inadvertently applies Israeli sovereignty to large areas of Judea and Samaria. (True it won’t be called this, but everyone knows that’s what it is.)

Bibi has already been informed by the US government and EU that there will be severe punitive measures at the Hague with the passage of this law.  Expect Obama to use the passage of the law to abstain from a UNSC vote recognizing the final borders of “Palestine.” These threats are well known and with 50 days to go, Bibi is just trying to hold out for a new, far more amicable President Trump.

In a perfect world, Bibi would get his way. The law would be pushed off until after January 20, but Amona’s destruction sets a precedent that his party the Likud and Jewish Home have vowed not to let happen. If Amona falls, the collapse of the government is almost certain.  December 25 is the date to watch, but with the first reading of the Regulation Law already finished, with its passing (there are two more readings necessary), the trigger for international measures against the only Jewish state may begin by Hanukkah.

JDL members attacked at BDS World Social Forum in Montreal

13661960_1478851035474204_8574419379537444081_oThe JDL was very successful in exposing the true face of the World Social Forum Conference in Montreal.

JDL Executive Director Meir Weinstein was attacked just minutes after the JDL arrived on the scene. See the video here.

Despite that, the Jewish Defence League protest continued for 2.5 hours. We never back down. The individual has now been reported to police.

The JDL protest was covered by the CBC, as well as here and here.

JDL to Confront and Expose pro-PFLP BDS Sabeel Conference: Montreal, August 10

On August 10, 2016, the Jewish Defence League will be returning to Montreal to lead a protest against an antisemitic event organized by the World Social Forum together with the pro PFLP Sabeel gang.

The goal of the event is to have church groups boycott Israel (co-hosts include the Anglican, Presbyterian and United Churches of Canada) and to claim that Jesus was a Palestinian and that the Jewish people have no right to the Land of Israel. The event will also promote the BDS movement and discuss the “resistance to the Empire.”

From the event description:

“Using examples of successful campaigns, Rev. Don Wagner and Rochelle Grause will explain what divestment is, why it is important for the Palestinian liberation movement, how it is done, and how to help your church or denomination to understand and support it. Nora Carmi will also explain why Christians should care about divestment.”

The Jewish Defence League will protest outside the event, providing transportation from Toronto for those who would like to attend the event, and inviting local Montrealers who care enough to stand up to the hate being spewed at the event.

“The Jewish Defence League will counter the antisemitic Sabeel Kairos Conference taking place in Montreal,” said Meir Weinstein, National Director of the JDL in Canada. “It is incomprehensible that at a time when Christians are being massacred in the Middle East, that Israel and the Jewish people are being depicted as evil by these church organizations.”

JDL Canada will protest Beit Zatoun Passover Seder with Ken O’Keefe: Thursday, April 28

Toronto’s Beit Zatoun is a nerve center for anti Israel incitement. Beit Zatoun receives support from many Jews on the far left that support all or certain aspects of boycotting Israel.

And those far left Jews will be having a so-called “Liberation” Passover Seder at this BDS nerve center on Thursday, April 28.

Present at this event will be Ken O’Keefe.

Beit Zatoun describes Ken O’Keefe this way:

An ex-U.S. Marine, he renounced his U.S. citizenship out of disgust at the American empire’s carnage. He was a founding member of the Human Shield Action to Iraq (2003). He served as captain on the first Free Gaza Mission (2008) and survived the Israeli attack on the ship Mavi Marmara (2010).

His style of activism is characterized by his involvement in disarming two Israeli commandos as nine of his fellow Mavi Marmara passengers were executed. The Israeli military later claimed O’Keefe was a “terrorist operative of Hamas.” O’Keefe has repeatedly stated that Israeli Mossad and its assets, along with traitorous elements within the USA, are directly responsible for the “false flag” 9/11 attacks.

Ken O’Keefe refers to Jews as “those fucking Jews”:

JDL will confront this BDS Nazi lover that evening, between 6pm and 7pm.

Beth Zatoun is located at 612 Markham Street, one minute from Bathurst subway stop on the Bloor line (use Markham Street exit)

Visit our Facebook page about this protest for more information.

‘JDL welcomed back to Calgary: Diverse group says ‘Never Again”

Sheila Gunn Reid reports for TheRebel.media:

There are two things that are so profound about the group of people bringing the JDL back to Calgary. The first was that they aren’t all Jews. They are people from different faiths, and diverse backgrounds who all support the right of the Jewish state to exist and they are willing to fight anti-semitism wherever they find it. Secondly, this is a group who aren’t waiting around for someone else – or the government – to solve their problems.

JDL Canada returns to Calgary: Sunday, March 6

Meir Weinstein National Director of the Jewish Defence League is returning to Calgary with other JDL members to establish a branch in Calgary:

Sunday March 6th at 7pm.

Calgary, Alberta

Stay updated at the Facebook page for this meeting.

The JDL has not been to Calgary since the late 1980s when it helped shut down the Aryan Nations compound. Today, radical Islam is a threat to Calgary, Canada and the world, as seen in this video:

The JDL is working with other groups to establish a coalition to defeat this threat to our way of life.
