On Saturday May 13th, there will be a pro Jihad Terrorism rally outside the Israeli Consulate in Toronto. The organizers of this ‘rally’ claim that the terrorists in Israeli prisons are ‘political prisoners’. The so-called political prisoners are terrorists and liars. These terrorists have blown up coffee shops and buses and have beheaded innocent people. They claim to be on a hunger strike drinking only salt water, but have been exposed eating. These terrorists have either murdered Jews or planned to murder Jews. They all follow a radical Islamic system.

Please join the JDL counter protest to refute their lies and incitement. Please bring Israeli and Canadian flags. Signs will be provided.

EMERGENCY EVENT in TORONTO: Sunday December 11

December 24, 2016:  First Night of Chanukah for Amona

December 26, 2016:  JDL Chanukah Freedom Party with the Amona Jewish Community LOCATION: Toronto (CLICK HERE)

Amona, a small Jewish community of approximately 40 families near the Jewish community of Ofra north of Jerusalem, is set to be demolished by order of Israel’s “Peace Now” and ultra left leaning Supreme Court.

The technical reason for this is that the community rests on “Palestinian” private property. While it’s true a small portion of the community rests on “Palestinian” land, most of the community does not. The “Palestinian” (who with the help of Peace Now, brought the complaint directly to the Supreme Court), has had nothing to do with the property, as his family abandoned it more than a generation ago. In fact, the property was of no interest to this “Palestinian” until Peace Now (which is funded by the EU) unearthed this fact in a document.

Although Amona is slated for destruction on December 25, a law has been tabled in the Knesset entitled “the Regulation Law” or “Normalization Law.” The purpose of this law is to retroactively legalize any Jewish community that the State of Israel knowingly provided support to in order to grow, even if the community is built on Arab private land. The absentee land owner in each case would be fully compensated. In most societies ,these laws are standard. So why is Bibi Netanyahu so afraid of passing this law?

One word: Obama.

The passage of this law prevents the precedent that the destruction of Amona would bring, which is to destroy the communities of Judea and Samaria through judicial fiat. The Regulation Law also inadvertently applies Israeli sovereignty to large areas of Judea and Samaria. (True it won’t be called this, but everyone knows that’s what it is.)

Bibi has already been informed by the US government and EU that there will be severe punitive measures at the Hague with the passage of this law.  Expect Obama to use the passage of the law to abstain from a UNSC vote recognizing the final borders of “Palestine.” These threats are well known and with 50 days to go, Bibi is just trying to hold out for a new, far more amicable President Trump.

In a perfect world, Bibi would get his way. The law would be pushed off until after January 20, but Amona’s destruction sets a precedent that his party the Likud and Jewish Home have vowed not to let happen. If Amona falls, the collapse of the government is almost certain.  December 25 is the date to watch, but with the first reading of the Regulation Law already finished, with its passing (there are two more readings necessary), the trigger for international measures against the only Jewish state may begin by Hanukkah.

URGENT ACTION: Ontario Legislature votes on BDS, December 1

75a7e782-8fe4-4669-a198-1740aa13ba54On Thursday, December 1st, Gila Martow, Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) for Thornhill, will introduce a motion affirming that the Ontario Legislature rejects the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement (BDS).

BDS seeks to isolate and punish Israel – and Israel alone – here in Canada and around the world. The goal of BDS activists is not to promote peace but, by blacklisting Israelis in business, culture, and academia, to challenge the very legitimacy of the Jewish State. In obsessively targeting Israel, the BDS movement is tainted by antisemitism.

While BDS has had little to no economic impact, it has directly fueled hostility toward Jews and Israelis on campuses across Ontario and elsewhere. Far too many students encounter toxic anti-Israel activism on their campus stemming from BDS activities.

Ontario’s elected leaders have already sent a strong message that our province rejects BDS and seeks to strengthen business, culture, and academic ties with Israel – as seen in the Premier’s recent trade mission to Israel. Now the Ontario Legislature is set to reaffirm this principled position through MPP Martow’s motion, which we expect will garner cross-party support.

But we need you to take action to ensure that all MPPs are aware of its importance and will vote in favour of it on Thursday.

CLICK HERE to add your name to those who support the motion, and send a message to Queen’s Park politicians that this motion is widely supported by voters.
